Tattoo Apprentice Residency at Yant Studio

After completing the 16-week core training, graduates will enter a 1-year tattoo apprentice residency at Yant Tattoo Studio:

  • Minimum commitment: 2 days per week / 12 hours total weekly.

  • Work on real clients under the continued mentorship of Yant Studio’s professional artists.

  • Continue developing your technique and style in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

  • Residency helps bridge the gap from training to becoming a fully independent tattoo artist.

Duration

TAS Tattoo Apprentice Program is an in-person, hands-on apprenticeship, closely monitored by our experienced mentors. The program runs for 16 weeks of intensive training, with classes held every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 11 AM to 5 PM, totaling 6 hours per day.

After completing the training, apprentices will enter a 1-year residency at Yant Tattoo Studio, where they will continue their development by working at least 12 hours a week under the guidance of our mentors, gaining real-world experience with live clients.

The program will be held at The Apprentice Studio at Yant Studio, located in Forest Hills, NYC

 
 

Admission & Fee

TAS’s Apprentice Program is dedicated to quality over quantity. Thus, to ensure that each apprentice is given ample time and attention to hone their skills as an artist, each class will be limited to only 6 apprentices at a time
